Born and raised in Oakland, California, Visual Artist Curtis Wayne Riley, Jr., better known as “Boze,” began drawing at a very young age, recreating cartoon characters as he watched them on television. Boze attended the Oakland Arts School, where he started developing his own unique style of drawing as a teen.
